I also have the greenwood candle (smells really clean, not what I was expecting, but LOVE it!). The little crackling is nice and the flame is bright. The only problem I have with the candle is the smoke level. I like to put the candle in our living room on the table somewhat near the smoke detector (about 5-6feet). It set off the alarm in about 20 minutes... so can't burn it in our living room but still love the candle.

As you can see in the video you didnt really hear it until I got close to the candle (& Burnt my finger LOL) I have it burning for about an hour or so a day & it fills my room with the Wonderful scent!! we never hear it & it does not bother any of our shows or conversations. If you want it just for the sound, buy more then one ;-) BUT I highly recommend this candle as it smells AMAZING!! I can not WAIT to buy more scents!! I bought one for a friend of mine as well & Her family Loves it too.

This candle smells so great you can smell it even when its not burning, but the real enjoyment comes from lighting it. Almost immediately you hear the little crackles and pops from the wood wick, but it also causes the flame to dance around. Thoroughly enchanting. I bought it as a gift for my sister and wanted to keep it.

Hmm... it's really nothing like a roaring fire but I don't think it ever says that it is supposed to be. I love the fragrance of this candle the noise that it makes really isn't noticeable unless you are quite close to the flame and then the noise is more like a hissing. I do love this candle though and I'm hoping to buy more... I just think they are kinda expensive.

We love candles. These are long lasting and provide sound effects that sound remarkably like that of a crackling fire. Can't beat them for aroma and ambiance

The candle came in broken. Unable to use as the wax spilled all over the area. Not packed well and I will never order the product again until it has a better shipping packaging!

A friend had one of these candles and I was so fascinated I had to buy one. I knew I would like it, but didn't realize I would love it. It's a nice big candle, with hours and hours of burn time. The slight crackling sound it makes is very soothing, and the smell is DELICIOUS. It's nice and strong too, so it fills the whole room. I like to light it when I'm reading in bed. It puts me in just the right mood. You will get lots of comments on the unique wick. I don't like spending this much on candles, but I'm sold for life now. The whole package is so sleek and elegant. The wood cap, the thick slightly flared glass, the smell, the sound, it's a winner.

I first received one of these candles as a gift (the smaller version). The wood wick really does make it sound like a crackling fire! Later, I found this large version at the store located inside the Cracker Barrel restaurant. I smelled the different varieties, and the Cinnamon Chai is, by far, my favorite. I bought this larger version and it has lasted a long time. I love how you can use the lid as a stand to place the candle on. I am now ordering one for my mother who admired mine when she was visiting me. They make great gifts for the women in your life. Good quality at a good price with a unique twist (the wood wick).

The WoodWick Cinnamon Chai candle is probably one of the best ones I've bought to date. The sound of the wick burning is almost like listening to a crackling fire in a fireplace. And the aroma of Cinnamon Chai is soothing. Although the scent can be a tad strong if used in a small area. Best placement for this candle would be in the kitchen or living room. Great Buy!

I was strictly a Yankee candle buyer until I saw one of these. The scent is amazing and the cracking sound really is nice. Highly recommended!
